Beyond Housing is a not for profit organisation providing people with a pathway to home. We are progressive and compassionate when we work with people experiencing homelessness and housing disadvantage.

We provide homes for renters who need them and the support they need to keep them. We are committed to preventing and ending homelessness, addressing housing affordability, and fostering housing stability.

Housing and homelessness operations:

  • support Victorians at risk of or experiencing homelessness who are finding it difficult to secure stable, affordable housing and help them live their best possible life
  • manage housing assets that currently house more than 116,000 Victorians
  • renew and substantially expand those housing assets by ensuring the $5.3 billion Big Housing Build is delivered on budget and on time
  • make sure we have a sustainable housing system that can deliver for generations to come.

Provides long-term case management for individuals and families who are experiencing rough sleeping or who have experienced multiple episodes of homelessness.

 

The intensive program continues over a three-year period.

  • Located in Ovens Murray Region.
  • Individuals and families who are rough sleeping or have experienced multiple episodes of homelessness.
  • Applicants must consent to engage in a three-year intensive program.

Through providing a thorough case management program, TAP enables young people to address their needs and develop independent living skills in a supported and coordinated manner. This occurs whilst supporting the young person to source safe affordable accommodation.

Support is provided for young people who are at risk of homelessness or who are homeless. 

 

TAP provides practical support for young people aged 16-25 years old, to move through homelessness toward sustainable independence, whilst addressing the barriers that have impacted on them becoming homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The Victorian homelessness system is organised under The Opening Doors Framework or ‘Opening Doors’. In simple terms Opening Doors has a limited number of designated entry points into the homelessness system. The purpose of these entry points is to assess needs, prioritise and connect people to the services and resources they need.

Women’s Housing Limited (WHL) is a statewide not for profit organisation that provides low costs housing to women at risk of homelessness.

  • Distributing Housing Establishment Funds to assist women experiencing a housing crisis
  • Housing assistance and referral to women exiting prison
